Sisters of the Dawn TTRPG

Howdy folks!

I hope everyone had a safe weekend.

I spent last week preparing for the surveys to go out - BackerKit advises to send out surveys two weeks from campaign's end, so they should be all set to go out this Friday. If you've been a BackerKit backer before, you'll be familiar with the idea of the "smoke test," meaning that a small sample of surveys will go out Friday, and then the majority of surveys will go out on Sunday or so.

This is to catch any screwups on my part, like linking the wrong product to a SKU or random backend stuff that you shouldn't worry about too much.

Anyway, all that is to say that you should get surveys by Monday, March 16th at the latest. If you don't have a survey by then, please feel free to reach out! You'll have two weeks (until March 30th) to submit surveys, so please submit as early as possible so I can make sure I have accurate counts for everything, which in turns makes it easier for me to make sure you get everything!

And for anyone that missed getting in on this campaign, the pre-order shop is open until March 20th, so make sure to get your copy of the game here.

Also, I think I've said it before but just in case - I'll be charging shipping separately, meaning you'll get one last charge from me closer to when I'll be shipping things out. I expect that to be early May at the latest.

Finally, you all have spoken and chose the dice to be released as part of the game.
These swirly blue and purple dice have been chosen!

Anyway, the rest of the week is working on the new campaign, polishing the guides, and working on layout for the whole thing.

Sorry, this is for reals the last email for a while!

First off, THANK YOU so much for bringing the Sisters of the Dawn to life. I literally couldn't do it without you!!


Secondly, of course, the poll ended up at a tie, so I'm reopening it through the weekend.

If you've already voted, you don't need to vote again. But if you haven't, I'm hoping you'll push us over the line and help me make a decision. If the poll still ends up tied by Monday, I'll let my own personal familiars, Mike and Eleven, choose from two snacks representing the options.

Anyway, I'm super grateful for all of your support, and now I'm off to pass out for a bit.

We're almost there, fam!
Huge thanks to everyone for bringing life to this TTRPG! I'm super excited to get this into people's hands, and I just wanted to let folks know that since we hit our FOURTH STRETCH GOAL (WAHOOO!) the dice addon is live if anyone wants to add a set of dice on (and if you read this post-campaign, don't worry, you'll be able to add them on in your survey).


The dice set will come as part of your stretch goal add-ons if you've backed at the Battle-Ready tier or higher!
 
Sorry the addon image is janky..I'm still not sure which dice set folks will settle on. 

Speaking of which, have you weighed in on the poll to determine which dice will be the official SotD colorway?

Anyway, bad puns aside, thank you so much to everyone who's posted, shared, backed, and generally supported the campaign. We're coming to an end - 1pm PT this Friday, and if you haven't backed, this is your last chance to do so! 

Also, we are soooo close to our next stretch goal - so close that I'm opening a poll with the assumption that we make it (fingers crossed). 

Which dice do you want? Translucent, purplish-pink with white pips? Or a swirl of blue and purple with gold numbers? The poll will close when the campaign does, so make sure to jump in ASAP!

Anyway, this is the last missive for this project that'll go out to everyone who's supported me in a past crowdfunding campaign - from here on out, it's backer-only updates.

Salutations, all! 

I just wanted to remind folks that there's only two days left to back Sisters of the Dawn, a rules-lite table top RPG where you go on adventures with your talking familiars and defeat demons in epic magic battles. 

So far, we've unlocked a bunch of stretch goals, including enamel pins, a pad of character sheets, an extra adventure, and the free pad of character sheets with every physical reward tier!! 

So if you've been waiting on jumping in, time is running out! Let's see if we can make it to our next stretch goal: a set of twenty D6!! This will be included for all backers that get all the stretch goals. 

Also, you all have spoken! Thanks to everyone who voted in the last tie-breaker poll. The extra adventure is going to be based in San Francisco in the roaring twenties, and your covens will navigate bootlegging, Prohibition, speakeasies, the Red Light district, and of course, smugglers. 

And if you're not currently getting all the stretch goals, you'll be able to add in the D6 set if you want as an addon. Buuuut, this makes it a perfect time to upgrade your pledge to make sure you're getting all the stretch goal goodies!
